Meet Dr. Nasem Mojarrad

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Bringing a smile that can light up a room and a gentle way with all of her patients, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist Dr. Nasem Mojarrad is originally from the Midwest, growing up in Granger, Indiana. She attended Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

After college, Dr. Nasem Mojarrad attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Mojarrad was very active in dental school, serving on her dental class' executive board, participating in a variety of outreach programs and even traveling to third world countries to provide dental care to children. She excelled in dental school and was on the Dean's List for her board score accomplishments, as well as receiving the 2009 American Academy of Implant Dentistry Dental Student Award.

Following dental school, Dr. Nasem Mojarrad was accepted into the University of Southern California's advanced pediatric specialty program where she spent two years of additional post-doctorate training. Dr. Nasem Mojarrad received the Hugh M. Kopel Award for outstanding resident of the year during her time at USC.

Dr. Nasem Mojarrad is currently working at the Children's Hospital of Orange County as a hospitalist dentist, providing dental care for children with special needs. She also is on faculty for the University of Southern California's advanced pediatric specialty program where she teaches the residents pediatric dentistry in a hospital setting. Dr. Nasem Mojarrad is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

When Dr. Mojarrad is not "counting teeth," she enjoys being active- hiking, yoga, Pilates, reading, playing with her Yorkshire Terrier puppy, Maxwell, and planning her upcoming fall wedding with her fiancé Jay.
